The Winery

La Azul is a small winery on land that merges into the sky. It is our home, warm and simple, where you will find grand landscape and elaborated premium wines. Our little winery is located staring at the snow covered Andes mountains in the Uco Valley, near Mendoza, Argentina.

We are equipped with the latest high quality technology enabling the most delicate nuances in wines. For aging we use careful blend of barrels both French and American oak. 

Owning our own vineyards permits us incredible control of the grape quality, the results of which are found in our wine. All this work finishes in each bottle and will certainly give you a moment of joy.

The Origin

At the foot of the majestic Andes, in the middle of the land called Agua Amarga in Tupungato born in 2003, we are Bodega La Azul.

Some of our vineyards count more than fifty years of production and others just a few. In this way, a great range of the highest quality grapes present the best of our efforts to you.

Our winery is managed by Alejandro Fadel and Gustavo Larghi. We are growing day by day and invite you to become part of our family.

tasting notes

Being purplish red, its aromas remind to red ripe fruits like plums, morello cherries and mulberries. On the mouth are soft and sweet tannins, of middle intensity with long finish. It is a perfect wine to pair with Pategrás, Fontina and Provolone cheeses as well as spicy food, red meats and pasta.

Tasting Notes

Deep ruby red color with spices, red ripe fruits and pepper aromas. In the mouth are ripe and complex tannins, plus a fine sharpness that gives this wine its great personality. Of middle intensity with long finish that fills our mouth with flavors and invites us continue drinking.

Aging: 15 months in oak barrels, 70% French Oak and 30% American Oak 

Tasting notes

This is a wine with surprising complexity and intensity. Having a very deep red hue, reminiscent of morello cherries. Very intense on the nose with red and forest fruits and pepper, together with aromas of vanilla and chocolate.

Aging: 24 months in barrels 70% French Oak, 30% American Oak

This is a complex wine, well structured with great intensity. Being deep red, it has delicate purplish hues. Its aromas reminds of red and black fruits assembled with pepper, spices, vanilla and chocolate.
