Familia Barbier S.A. or "Viña 1924 De Angeles Winery" produces exclusively Single Vineyard wines from grapes that come always from a unique sole parcel within an old and traditional Malbec vineyard of Mendoza, first planted in year 1924 been one of the oldest, located in Vistalba, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza.
The wines are always made with 100% estate grown grapes and estate bottled. Viña 1924 De Angeles is a winery planned and built from inception to showcase the particular expressions of this old-vine Malbec vineyard.
Our Winery, in its way of carefully producing these small lot of unique malbec bottles each vintage, was recently included by US WineAccess, the website where Stephen Tanzer publishes his Wine Reviews, between its 10 Recommended Wineries for Malbec and between its 10 Recommended Wineries of Argentina:
